Boobs!

I’m starting a new project… Portraits of breasts. I was surprised at the amount of attention the nipple in my sea lady with the seahorses got and figured, hey, why not celebrate these oh-so-distracting, wonderfully curvy bits? Just the other night, this helped validate my hypothesis (the whole thing is entertaining, but skip to about 4:18 and then watch Jon’s reaction (which, while planned, really isn’t that far off, right?))

So, these are the first two paintings I’ve whipped out in the last couple days. Yes, it’s partially a shameless way to create art that will likely sell, but I really am enjoying the work.
