I’m happy to play with backgrounds, lighting, or just about any other way to spruce up a snapshot that you would otherwise love. I have extensive experience painting a variety of children, as well as adults and pets.

After receiving your order, I’ll contact you (via email or phone, please note your preference if emailing me) to discuss what comes next, including about how long it will take to complete the painting. I’ll send you in progress photos as well as a final proof for your approval prior to shipping.

Process:

We chat about what you’re looking for – this is a good time to email me a selection of photos that you’re considering and we decide what will work well as a painting.  The conversation then turns to specifics: timeframe, size, preferred medium, etc.

A digital sketch is then presented for approval prior to starting the painting.

Small portraits normally take about 3-4 weeks to complete, larger paintings take approximately a month and a half.

A deposit of 50% is required before work begins, with the final balance payable upon completion. Prices do not include sales tax, framing, or shipping. Upon receipt of your painting, the final payment is due.

Basic pricing (acrylic or oil):

Small (less than 10” x 10”):            $375
Medium (10” x 10” -  15” – 30”)     $400 – $1,700
Large (16” x 20” and up)                $1,850 +
