Ok, I admit it… I struggled with this painting like you wouldn’t believe… and all it was of were 4 round yellow lemons! Proof indeed that I need to spend more time painting.
Hold On Little Squirrel!
I painted this little guy yesterday evening after finishing the portrait in the post below. It was raining out and I saw a squirrel running along the telephone wires overhead. I couldn’t shake the thought that he probably would have liked an umbrella. I added the background from a photograph I took.
Red Boots and Snow
I couldn’t sleep last night, so I decided to stay up and paint. This was the result 🙂
