This listing is for my original acrylic bird painting of a King Penguin.
These lovely little birds are native to subantarctic islands, such as, South Georgia Island and Macquarie Island.
Fun fact: King Penguin chicks are brown. They look so unlike adult King Penguins that when explorers arrived at South Georgia Island, they thought these were a different species of penguin and named it the “Wooly Penguin”.
