Original Painting – Wayward Whales at Anzo Borrego

This listing is for an original oil painting on wood panel. This is my latest addition to my Wayward Whales series. Three humpbacks explore the terrain over Anzo-Borrego State Park in California.

This painting has bits of gold and copper leaf to add elements of richness to an already glowing backdrop. A patch of teddy bear cactus catch the light in the foreground. I’m not going to lie: painting the little spines on those cacti required a fair bit of patience!

The painting measures 16″ x 20″ and comes ready to hang. The sides are bare wood, and 1.5″ deep. The sides can be painted upon request to match your home’s aesthetic. Another option would be to have it framed (picture shown is just for reference).

Shipping will be determined after purchase, but will run at least $40 depending on your location and preferred method of delivery. If you’re local SF/Bay Area, you’re welcome to come pick it up!
