Real Paintings

I’ve been in Herbert land for awhile now. As much as I love creating worlds for him, sometimes I wonder how legitimate those paintings are in terms of “real art.” So I figured I would do something a bit more on the “serious” side. I tried to whip out a painting in a couple of hours, just to play with oils, as I’ve been ignoring them a bit. I would say this was a 3-4 hour painting, but broken up over 3 days. I find myself attracted to a lot of the painting a day sites… I aspire to that sort of productivity.
